SeedboxHosting.com has just launched a new line of servers. Our most powerful servers yet, these new servers come with more memory, more disk space, and more raw seeding power than ever before.

You control multiple seedboxes

You are the Admin and your server comes with the ability to create multiple seedboxes with just a few clicks in the dashboard. This makes it super easy to split a server with friends, or even resell seedboxes to help pay for your own. Each of your sub-users is set up with their own copy of rTorrent running ruTorrent WebUI, FTP, SFTP, Rsync, and full SSH access. All files are completely private from your other users.

Relax, your files are safe

Each server has two hard disks. You can put both of them together as one for the greatest amount of file storage. You can also choose to mirror all your files onto both hard disks. This gives you only half the amount of storage space, but you have the assurance that if one of the disks fail, your files are not lost. You can easily configure this one way or the other in the dashboard.

Full-on unrestricted root access

It's your server, you should be in control. The dashboard makes it easy to do everything most people need with seedboxes, but if you are comfortable with the command line, SSH and full root access are always available.

The best seedbox interface available - with plugins

It is simple to upload, seed and organise your torrent collection with the ruTorrent 3.1 WebUI. Maintaining a kick-ass ratio has never been easier. All ruTorrent plugins are available for advanced functionality, you can enable or disable them in the dashboard.

Get your server instantly

You get your server as soon as you sign up when we have them in stock. (Check how many are in stock.) We are getting more of these servers every day, so if you see us temporarily out of stock, sign up anyway and we will have it to you as soon as possible - usually within 12 hours.

Today we added new tools to your dashboard to give you more power over your server.

A few weeks ago we discovered a problem in the reboot system and had to temporarily remove it. That has been fixed now along with a new safer 'soft reboot'. You can also now hard reboot the system (power cycle the server).

Before resorting to those methods though, we wanted to create the ability to check the status on other systems, like the web server, ftp server and the rTorrent client. These have been added as well as the ability to restart these services individually.

To find these new tools, check out the "maintenance" tab in your dashboard.

We are now testing ruTorrent, version 3.1, which is packed with new features. So far we love it and want to make it available for anyone else who wants to help us test it on our seedboxes.

All SeedboxHosting.com seedboxes come with separate data partitions where all your files live. This means you can easily go to your dashboard and install version 3.1 or revert back to the stable 2.8 version without destroying your files.

We have also made this new seedbox installation available with SSL for secure web based access.

After a bit more beta testing with early adopters, we will make this the default installation for all new seedboxes.
